Would you love to know more about wine but find the whole thing a little overwhelming?

The YVR Wine Night is your chance to meet and learn all about wine from Vancouver's least pretentious sommeliers and most passionate wine bloggers.

This 'wine show' style tasting will guide you through ten stations, with each station demonstrating a different, fundamental 'wine lesson'

For example:

  • What's the difference between the new world and the old world?
  • How does the taste of Pinot Noir grown in a cool climate difer to Pinot Noir grown in a warm climate?
  • What is organic wine and what do organic wines taste like?

As the evening progresses and as you visit each station, you will be introduced to different reigons, styles and winemaking techniques. By the end of the event you will have tasted over 20 wines and you will be confident picking bottles from any wine store shelf or any restaurant wine list.

Everyone will be encouraged to grab a glass of their favorite wine from the night and stay to mingle with the other new wine lovers in attendence!
